Just recently re entered boating after a long absence and need a few things addressed on a Chaparral Signature 240 and wondered where is a good shop at or mobile mechanic. I have trailer to move it if necessary.

Guy comes highly recommended by people in the Chicago Harbors. I never personally used him but I talked with him as he was working on my neighbors boats at Diversey before. Seems like a knowledgeable and trustworthy guy.

Just remember boat mechanics are probably super busy now so I wouldn't be surprised if people are booking 2 to 3 weeks out on repairs.

My friend owns a Mobil marine service as well he’s worked for the yacht dealer that I worked for back in the day for 15-20 years before starting his own business

My boats ALWAYS only have issues before a nice weekend or summer event LOL
I don't have a big problem just something that I want to deal with before it can be a big issue.

Just remember boat mechanics are probably super busy now so I wouldn't be surprised if people are booking 2 to 3 weeks out on repairs.
