I watched it and thought it was entertaining. The plot was pretty predictable though. I'd give it a solid 7/10.

Last episode at the end, when Reacher is walking in to the diner, the gentleman walking out is James Dover Grant, better known as Lee Child, the author of the books.

I really liked it - plus im bored AF during the winter, so win-win.

This was the only part that annoyed me. Why go through the trouble of this much detail only to get it wrong? Im not even a 'serious' gun guy and I cringed...

I could see the "95g" having some validity (Personal Defense loads), but yeah, should have called it a suppressor.

Edit: and I seriously doubt they were subsonic. They're usually higher velocity, like 1300fps.

Thought it was entertaining. Big dumb dumb is a terrible actor, but when you look beyond that, it's good. Will watch season 2.

Yeah - Ive never seen subsonic below 124 (or realistically 147gr) and no one smart enough to intentionally select bullet weight is dumb enough to use supersonic out of a suppressor & expect it to be quiet...

I mean it wasnt the worst acting ever, but there was quite a few times when the lines just didnt come across as they should have.

It was still entertaining, Id say a 7/10 or so.

Still not as good as Jack Ryan though.

Tom Cruise in the Reacher role is like using someone 6'2" to play the role of Logan/Wolverine, who is supposed to be short and stocky (5'3" - 300lbs). Oh wait, they did do that, didn't they?

Just finished this. Never read the book or seen the movies. Thought it was cheesy and heavily predictable but that made it a light hearted watch.

Will watch season two.
