Fuck..the more I dig into this thing the more worn ass shit and missing parts I find. I think I am about to go full potato on it. Already $200+ in parts and batteries and about to order a good $50 more. Might as well just do it all at once and make this thing capable of running with the new tech with a sensored esc and brushless motor.

ahhh F that lol. Yeah, after I started messing with it I began to remember how it all goes together. Pretty damn simple and it works. Going to try to spend a bit of time cleaning up the chassis and continuing to disassemble tonight. Decided to upgrade to cva axles and wide track front so I can run newer wheel/tire combos. Planning on just rebuilding the diff and trans and lubing it, but Ill prob take it apart and find wear. My brother just put together a monster truck that should be able to do about 50mph. Being me, I must one up him and be faster but im trying real hard to wait till next month.

That wont' be hard with a RC10T. Those are light enough that your power system doesn't have to be outragous. You could do a 3S lipo setup and it would easily do 50mph, probably closer to 60-70. Tires that don't want to explode at those speeds will be harder.

I would totally rock that, know anyone that does paint jobs like that?

I had a guy at Al's Hobby Shop do it for me. since i lacked the air brushing skills to do it.

I can learn to do it, I'm just lazy and will happily use the window stickers, then just paint the whole thing one color. I'm lazy that way since I'll end up destroying the body during bashing.

There are tons of tutorials out there.

They've come a long way with electric RC cars, damn. I remember my Traxxas Rustler, i had both the electric and nitro ones, and either of them barely got above 30 or so.

I still have a Nitro 4-tec, that thing can do about 70mph. I used to have so much R/C shit, but sold it all. This was always my favorite. Built it about 8 years ago. 85'' wingspan

Road cars are so boring.......

Except when they can do Zero to 60mph in under 2.5 seconds. Then they get exciting. Gotta drive them where they were meant to be driven, on an actual course where it can put your skills to work.

If people drove my 1/7th scale Lambo on track they'd be way more focused on controlling the car vs just flat out straight line speed. It does that to, insanely well.
