So if I put the stock pcm into my car for winter and then put the aftermarket pcm infor summer...How do you think that is guys... Do you think that I will mess things up or burn anything out??? Well get back to me asap..Thanks guys....
Keep your aftermarket PCM in there, it isn't killing your gas mileage.
If you want to save some gas mileage, pull the connection going to your boost bypass valve for the winter. This will limit your boost to 4lbs, so you can leadfoot it all you want and get better mileage in the process...
You can interchange your PCM's based on the seasons, but to be honest that hassle and time it takes really saves you minimal. I would just suggest keeping in your aftermarket pcm and keeping your Performace Shift off during the winter if that is what you are concerned with.
