So have we decided all new campers are trash or is there any brand that is solid?

Maybe take a look at something made by Northwoods Manufacturing. I’ve heard that they are built a little better than most of the others. I think they have frames built in house.

i think SleeperLS your issue (as you already know) will be a toyhauler that could fit your shit will neeeeed a 3/4 ton truck at minimum. and be a big fucking trailer. so i kinda get the two trailers idea. just seems like a lotta work.

That is exactly where I am at. TBH I dont want to tow 2 separate vehicles to go places. I enjoy road tripping with my wife and dogs riding shotty.

We just have to decide to bite the bullet and get a diesel and toy hauler, or accept going camping or riding just not at the same time.

This was the number one reason I was considering a diesel to tow a 5th wheel. I have been chatting with Deezuz about diesels to get an idea about them since I dont know shit about them. The set up I really want is a 17+ f250/f350 6.7 to tow this beauty.
