TCG member Knowklew contacted us at CCC to get his 3pc 360 Forged Vette wheels worked on. We happily took on the job and will post up the steps we are taking to bring these beautiful wheels back to life. 3 of the 4 are leaking from bolts which is most likely the seal. 1 bolt was snapped and all 4 wheels will be powder coated Gloss Black. Stay tuned for updated pics.

360 Forged 3pc.

Leaks Found.

Disassembly.

Remove old silicone and separate.

Remove snapped bolt.

Stay tuned.

Paul,

Do me a favor with the valve stems and put in short ones if you can. The ones on there now run very close to the brake calipers

I never even thought about 3 piece wheels leaking from there. Looking good, surprised raw clear coated wheels isn't a thing yet.

I had my wheels cleared after they were cut. It took a little bit of the appearance away as far as pop but no hassle with the clear.

First bead of silicone in. Once dry, we will apply the final stage of silicone and 24 hours, wheels are ready for tires mounted & balanced.

Project Forged 360 3pc wheels complete!

We had so much fun on this project! From disassembly to coating, installing new hardware, all the way to re-assembling... Very nice, quality, and well made wheels. Thanks Knowklew for letting us at CCC do the rebuild! It was a pleasure meeting you.

Thanks!

Looks great Wheel Guy! :bigthumb:

Will you guys install tires on a set of wheels and balance? I am looking for a place that is meticulous and will NOT damage wheels in the slightest.
