I'm awful, I procrastinate on just about everything. I would have thought I'd learn by now. It is the source and solution to a lot of my work anxiety.

Procrastination feels like a persistent ailment that can be incredibly challenging to overcome. For some individuals, it may even seem nearly impossible, unless they find a specialist equipped to provide the necessary assistance. The key to defeating ADHD-related procrastination lies in a fundamental shift in thinking, and here's a resource that outlines how this approach works: https://danielbenabraham.com/flow-p...s-morning-re-programming-script-affirmations/. This comprehensive guide offers insights and techniques designed to reprogram the mindset and tackle procrastination at its core.

Just re-started a Python bootcamp course, that I paused on December 12th.... 2019

LikeABauce302 LikeABauce302, let's see if you get that light bulb changed before I complete the course, which is about 40 hours of instruction. I figure at this rate it should take me about 160 years.
I have tomorrow off from work, so if I have a spare light bulb, the likelihood of replacing it is looking good. If I don't have a light bulb on hand, this is going to drag out for another 6 months.

I made it through a single 15 minute session so far... how's that light bulb thing doing?

How many Union Electricians does it take to screw in a light bulb?

..............................Eight. One to change the bulb, three to watch him work, one to supervise, one to make the coffee, and two to phone in to say that they can't make it in to work today.

I procrastinate so bad. I work better under pressure, so if I have a ton of time to do something I have zero motivation to get it done.

I was a horrible student because of this....barely graduated from college. Somehow I've gotten away with it in my career so far, and think it has actually made me better at "winging it" which has been a skill that has helped my career.

Still not finished 😂. I have to back my car out of the garage to go run an errand in a few, so with my car out of the way, maybe I'll get on a step ladder and change it. I will post an update later lol.

I'm also a procrastinator. I think I developed the habit at a young age because school never challenged me until I got into my major classes in college. All through high school and the first year or so of college, I was able to wait up until the last minute and then scramble to get homework or projects done and still managed to have a solid 3.5+ GPA. Once I started getting into my harder classes is when it started to bite me. I still got by though and graduated with a decent GPA.

Now that I'm managing people, I try not to procrastinate as much because it now has a snowball effect. When it comes to work that only effects me, such as my end of the year performance self evaluation, I waited up until the last minute before it was due a couple days ago lol.

Just a fair warning... in the last 3+ hours I've completed one 4 minute overview video.
