They say it’s the most track capable mustang ever. I’ll make a prediction that the DH will be on par with a 5th gen Z28 with a slight advantage over that due to potential improvement in tires.

Seems like a lot of money but there is ass for every seat. I don’t think fire will make a Shelby gt350 or gt500 anymore
I wouldn't pay $60k for the base model of it. lol

The GT350 I can see going away. The GT500 (Or whatever they end up calling it) will probably be a n/a V8 and electric motors up front. Boost performance without the thirsty boosted V8.

I agree with gomey, I don't think ford is going to put the R&D in to another gt500 (or similar) mustang. No hellcat or camaro to compete with, so why develop a mustang with a six figure price tag.

There will be another GT500. Hell its practially the same damn car as an S550. Why not parts bin whore it like dodge does. A GT500 engine in an S650 is plug and play.

I said while ago used GT500 prices will look like a steal once DH hits the showrooms.

Fuck those ADMs buy a GT500 with almost 300hp more.

Maybe. They used BMW and other manufacture's cars for benchmarks with the GT350 & GT500. If Ford sells the car worldwide, like they do with the base and GT Mustang already, I can see where they may still offer one. I guess we will see.

These manufacturers also develop these cars alongside their race car teams. Now add EV departments to that development team. There could still be an opportunity to develop parts, systems, and cars.

I'm not saying they will develop a new V8. I am saying the same one they have. Then add a hybrid system to it. They have already tested different units. So they have the money into development already. Could it be a flywheel-attached motor? Or a single upfront? Or dual motors up front? Since they have worked with all of these, they could easily adapt it into the Mustang.
