So I never did get around to those park benches but will be doing so soon among other shit-needs-fixing stuff. "Need" corded table saw and compound sliding mitre, are the DeWalt ones at HD good to go? Doesn't have to be DeWalt but I would like to get something of decent quality.

As far as their table saws go, for some reason there's no 10" corded DeWalt available? They all say out of stock online and not available in stores.

For the mitre, was thinking about this one: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-...l-Sliding-Compound-Miter-Saw-DWS779/206541015

I have the similar model but the cordless version. No complaints.
Put a Diablo blade on it and let er rip.

We just launched a few of many new impacts. They are the 3/8” and 1/2” Atomic impacts, things are awesome! More compact design vs the smallest impact we currently have and way more balls. Pull lugs off no problem 300 ft lbs of fastening torque and 450 ft lbs of breakaway. 4 speed settings with Precision Wrench. Love it!

So is the atomic line the compact models now? I thought in the past they were more entry level vs the XR models. I think when I got my 1/4” the atomic version wasn’t brushless.

No idea. Dewalt made it too confusing. Really, the surge version of MKE shit is like this too. I don’t want to have to google shit when shopping to figure out WTF it is.

I don't disagree, it is not clear. Our 2 biggest customers are Lowes & Home Depot, we offer differentiated lines to each of them. Our new 12V line is only available at Lowes and the Atomic line is specific to Home Depot. The whole idea of Atomic is a compact size with larger tool performance.

Ryobi guy here. Still figuring out the difference between HP and High Performance. Some HP tools have extra connectors for HP batteries, and some don’t, while new HP batteries don’t have the extra connectors but the old ones do. They say its all in the electronics in the tools now, but does that mean my old HP batteries aren’t High Performance?

My head hurts.
