My first electric lawn mower. We're on a small lot with even less grass due to the pool, so I figured an electric mower was the way to go.

I'm digging it so far. I opted for the 'push' version since it seemed like I'd get a little more work-out. I can get through the whole lawn in like 20 minutes. And then maybe add another 5-10 for the electric trimmer. I only used half the battery in cutting our lawn, shows you how little grass we have.

I was surprised at how loud it was. I knew it wouldn't be like an electric car, but it's still substantially noisy compared to my expectations.

I also purchased a desk since I work 100% remote. The last desk I bought was in 2004. I may have bought something a little larger than I really need, but I'd rather have more than be short. Ugh, we're spending so much money having moved into this house. I can't wait until I'm able to put money back into savings once we're all set up.

New headlights for the G37. The stock D2S bulbs are “ok”, but at night in the middle of nowhere the high beams don’t really do that well. Figured I’d try these.

Dumb me thought “twin pack” meant quantity of 2. It meant two packs of 2. So have two spares now.

Direct fit, even though I marked the point of impact I didn’t have to make any adjustment.

Set my drums up and forgot that both my ride cymbal and my 16” crash had giant cracks in them and sound like absolute pie-tins while playing. Also the heads are all worn to shit. So I bought a new set of heads and 2 new cymbals of the cheapest variety I could find from a manufacturer that makes real instruments.

Blower is supposed to be the most powerful one on the market. Local shop had a sale for $100 off!

Solid buy, one of my favorites when I can get it at/near retail pricing. I snagged two .375 store picks of it at Jewel a couple weeks back. It's nice being able to get booze at grocery stores up this way.

Spare glasses on https://www.zennioptical.com/. Used insurance to get prescription sunglasses for driving. I only need to wear them for driving/TV, so I got the sunglasses through the eye doctor and a new set of cheap ones for the car.

My prescription didn't change from last year, but the anti-glare coating is gone, so with it getting darker earlier and my astigmatism, I needed new ones.
