I assume you don't jump much when you play bball, but do the shoes do anything for cushioning?

Oh I jump when playing basketball, I play in the paint. So I'm posting guys up and or going for rebounds.
I'm sure I cant jump as high as you as I got you by about 10yrs lol. My Retro Jordan collection arent my basketball shoes, those are my every day go out and kick it shoes and wear to work if I'm not meeting a customer.
I do have a pair of Jordans dedicated for basketball, they are the "6 rings" and they work best for me. Other guys prefer different shoes, its all a personal preference and what feels best for you.
