I’m trying to hold out for a Ryzen 5000 CPU but might try and snag a used 3600 or 3700 for now.Nice. Part of me has wanted to slowly collect parts, but then Id probably get pissed they are sitting there and impulse buy the rest. Id also worry Id buy something and 10 minutes later it sucks.
I'd seriously wait.I’m trying to hold out for a Ryzen 5000 CPU but might try and snag a used 3600 or 3700 for now.
I had spotted a Ryzen 3800xt for $275 on Facebook market place. But even then I imagine in another month once 5000 CPUs become more available that might drop value more.I'd seriously wait.
Those IPC improvements are no joke unless you are gonna buy a used CPU at serious used discounts.
Doing my nightly Micro Center checks. Funny. The same day the 6800 and 6800XT comes out, MC Chicago miraculously has limited supply of 3090s and 3080s.
Last time anything was in stock was the 5th and was 3090s, and I cant tell you last time 3080s were shown in stock.
A small part of me wants to see if I can get in on one of those 3080s and pull a dickhead, I mean capitalist, move and flip it for 2X, keep it for my PC that Ill be able to use one day, or sell to syP for $500+ his 3070.
Any laptop or desktop with a AMD ryzen 5 or intel i5 with either a Nvidia 20xx series or 30xx series GPU or the newer AMD gpus. Not sure where else to ask since I didn't think it warranted it's own thread.
I just bought a GoPro Hero 9 Black. It's friggen awesome, but my free Toshiba laptop is wayyyy too slow and wimpy to play and edit 4k videos. I wasn't even able to see what I made until I got to work this morning. Any suggestions for a good video editing computer? I miss my old Think Pad, but even it struggled a lot with Filmora. I'm open to getting a desktop.
Thanks!Any laptop or desktop with a AMD ryzen 5 or intel i5 with either a Nvidia 20xx series or 30xx series GPU or the newer AMD gpus.
8gb of ram minimum.
You can go higher for better performance with a ryzen 7 or i7. I just wouldn't go under the ryzen 5/i5Thanks!
