So, unfortunately not my ride. But a good friend picked up a 49 Chevy. I believe it is a Deluxe Sport. Original engine is gone and replaced with a straight-6 from 1958. Need to get more details and photos once he rolls it into the sun.

New rims and tires. The rims should match our new trailer nicely while the 10 ply tires will be more suitable for towing.

I took the front plate bracket off . Overall it makes the front end look better , but there are some markings on the bumper from it being on . I like it .

Nothing expensive. Vision Turbine rims and Corsa All Terrain LT tires. I ordered them through Discount Tire website. About $1500 with road force balancing, TPMS sensors and shipped to my house ready to install.

The new rims and tires look better and perform better with the trailer than the OEM set up.
The load E tires made a huge difference with my Expedition and trailer today. Strong winds wanted to take me away. But those tires held up very nice and greatly helped reduce sway.
