I was getting nervous because the guy didn't respond to my message about him needing to file the claim through his carrier since he was at fault.
I got a call about an hour ago from his provider. So it seems like he won't dispute fault. I sent pics via the app/web to his provider. Then I just have to pick a place. Though I don't know how I get the rental through them yet. But since the car is 100% drivable, I'm not in a big hurry. Though his provider said that body shops are weeks behind with backlog, so it's good the car is road worthy. The aesthetic doesn't bother me so much. The only really annoying thing is the passenger door squeaking when it opens as it is rubbing the fender.
