This thing is so cool.

Forgot about the ECT switch, it's been in the low power setting.

Guy has a pioneer BT radio, a CB that works, boost gauge, and even a EGT gauge which needs to be plumbed.

Used Google translate for some of the pictures to see what they said.

Seems this thing was in the service of the police or the government while it was in service in Japan prior to being imported.

How easy/hard is it to get parts? We're working on rebuilding a 3.0 diesel out of a Patrol, the shop that has the car had to order a slightly used block from Australia because the original one crapped out in a bad way.

I have only ordered a filler kit for it so far... But I'm going to guess that is not going to be easy. Going to have to use specialty JDM parts shops, Rockauto doesn't know anything about it.

However, aside from the engine, most of the parts (brakes, suspension, etc) are the same as the same generation 4runner.
