GPA had to trade it in because he had to afford two new hips from the horseshit ride.
During my research I have also found that 2015-2017ish GMC 6.2/5.3 8 speed transmission trucks are notorious for issues with the 8 speed transmission
I am going to test drive a 5.0 F150 with 3.73 gears tomorrow to see if it helps it compete a little better with the 3.5 ECOBOOST.
I have talked to 4 different dealers down here and they will only give me the “Discounts” and no “Rebates” to get the 0% financing. Which is still not bad as it is close to 6-7k in “Discounts”.

If buying a Ford make sure you sign up on Ford.com as interested, you'll likely get an email with a PCO for $1k - $3k. Drop that on them after you've negotiated, since the discount is direct from Ford.

I'd love to be able to tow my car to autobahn/road america on a lightweight open car trailer. My current 2012 Frontier Pro-4X won't even come close to being able to do that. I really don't WANT to get rid of it because the size is just right for everything other than towing and it has been dead nuts reliable... But a new truck sure would be nice... I went and drove a new Ram Rebel the other day and it was pretty sweet. I'd love to drive a new Silverado but I have a feeling they are going to DRASTICALLY redesign the interior soon because that shit just isn't competitive right now. I actually love the way they look though...
