CRAZY to me since the truck is 4wd, the trans has to be physically bigger, bigger wheels/tires, hitches, etc all sorts of stuff in it.... van, rwd 4l60e 5.3 with a basicbitch 10bolt.

van and truck are same GVWR of 7300lbs.

Technically, shouldn't your empty weight be very close to GVWR minus payload capacity? Your truck has what, 2k payload capacity? That would put it at about 5300 lbs

Van's heavier but not by much. That's my guess
