I think the issue is (here at least), most huts have moved out of their old school locations where they had room for a buffet, in to little hole in the wall places that are just big enough to run a pick-up/delivery business out of. So the only ones with a buffet possibility would be those that haven't gone this route.

Are there any full size locations near us? Last two holdouts near me were the one on Schmale (Carol Stream), and before that the one on Army Trail (Bloomingdale), where the Starbucks now is.

Not sure. I know the one in South Elgin was our closest one. They moved out to a little cubicle sized joint in a strip mall in front of Meijer on Randall, and WeeDee's moved in to their old location.

Wait, what?!?! Is that the same WeeDee’s that was at North/Gary that’s now a BP (N/W corner)?

Not sure. I remember that one too. This one was originally on the corner by the South Elgin Fire station and then the village decided to redo that entire corner, so either they close up shop. Or move. So they took advantage of PH moving out and bought their old place.

I’d be really curious if it is the same place, or owners. I used to go there all the time. They closed up and I started going to Tony’s Steamers.

For Pizza Hut buffet, I could easily put down $10 worth of food/drink in one sitting.

The one here, the owner (I believe) is a wheelchair bound vietnam vet. His wife, brother and son are all running it. Not sure if they also had that location.

Hell Yeah!!! There was one right outside my college. We would go once a week and the manager would get pissed off due to the amount of food we would eat.

We have Pizza Ranch here which is a buffet and the pizza tastes pretty similar to PH. I do miss me some PH buffet tho. For $9.99 too that would be killer.

Our local Pizza Hut moved to a strip mall tiny location like 4 years ago from its old school big location. That’s a Dutch bros now.

Basically no buffet for me

Pizza Hut in Yorkville looks to be a big building and I believe there is one in west chicago
Looks like they're back in their original location in WeGo now. They moved out some 20 years ago and moved to the strip mall right behind Sandpiper restaurant at 59 and Washington St. Their original place then became a mexican restaurant.

But yea, looks like they moved back.
