3800 pcm question

The pcm i had in my car when i bought it was locked. We found out when i put in the 42# injectors and went to change the fuel table. So i bought a zzp 1.0 with the injector add on, put the new pcm in and car and it ran terrible (hard starting,sloppy shifts,8 mpg,no ses light). So i sent it back and waited for a new one. Get the new one on friday put it in and car runs even worse . The ses light is on now. You guys think i need to get a case learn? Im just so sick of all these problems. Any ideas?

From what I hear the ZZP PCM's suck. I would look into a DHP Power Tuner.

yeah you better be off with a tuner for something like that. i ran to the same problem as you when sent in pcm to get it program.

Yeah, it's just the inherent sucktitude of the ZZP. Get a Powertuner or DHP.

I had the same problem, switched to DHP and all my problmes are gone
