So I had a 2013 optima that blew up on me on the way home from work. It was a stripped basic commuter that did its job for 148k miles. Kia is replacing the motor for free, awesome. But in the meantime I got a new daily.

I’ve had it a week and put a thousand miles on it. It’s been a fucking awesome week in this thing. 2013 GS350 awd F sport with 55k miles.

Looks great, and that’s a big upgrade. What you doing with the Kia?

Little update. So my wife enters me into a Father’s Day tint giveaway and I end up winning a $200 gift certificate. I never win shit so that was awesome. Decided to go ceramic since I had a freebie head start.

That mileage counter was at 0 three weeks ago. I’ve been driving the shit out of it. Overall, best damn daily I’ve ever had. Some petty dislikes- very nannyish when you’re driving. Can’t set bass/mid/treble while in drive, can’t save seat settings. Idk, let me adjust shit. Cruise control stalk. Dumb spot, just much rather prefer buttons on the steering wheel. The biggest and most credible gripe is the garage door button on the rear view mirror. One little tap and your mirror is constantly out of place. I just use a separate opener honestly.

Other than that I’ve almost fell asleep in the car like 3 times it’s so good lol. Love everything else about it.

Long write up but probably the last update I’ll have. If anyone’s in the market I wouldn’t hesitate to scoop one of these up. And the F sport package is a night and day difference between the regular. A grill and wheels really as far as looks but it’s dramatic. Almost like the regular 96 caprice vs the SS.

COT damn, I barely put that many miles on either one of my cars every year  I had to give my G37 to my brother to put miles on it because I've only been driving my s2000 or commuting on my bike to work.

I envy people like you lol. When we are super busy at work, it’s nothing for me to put on 600-700 miles a week on my DD.
