Only 82k original miles.. very solid engine and trans.. 2nd owner had it for 12 years! (a very nice British lady) Cosmetic it isn't the best but what do you expect for a $1200 winter beater anyway? It only needs a few little fix ups to be even better which we will address shortly!

And here are the pics!

hehe... yeah, light weight tin can is the key along with efficient little 1.6 engine mated with manual tranny!

....people forget how much weight gets added when you have items like power windows, air bags, ABS, power door locks, sun roof, power steering ... and manual trans is lighter than auto-tragic, etc.

thanks, we did have to put some work/$$ into it though...

Needed all new brakes (front and rear all components), needed new driver door hinge and door handle, and a nice stereo steup with subwoofer so it's more like a $2k beater now ;)

Yea but the car drives soooo much better with new brakes it'll be worth it. Also new tires help a lot also!! (I figure they'd be dry-rotted if the car's been sittin for a while? :dunno:)
