shit if you can dip into the early coyote f150’s for 12k get on one of those, the 6r80 is damn near bulletproof
Mileage isn't that big of a concern, I just brought it up because I am already used to substandard MPG.Everything cheap enough for your budget is either going to get shit gas mileage or be pretty rough for a daily
Not necessarily. If you look away from the city, there is still good value out there.
There are 3 F250 super duty I have bookmarked for under $10k. They have mileage, but appear to be well kept. Just hesitant as I've never owned a diesel
Panther you say? Possibly
I forgot to mention that there are at least 1-2 of these in wagon form towing lightweight race cars to events. Small inflatable mattress in the rear for the overnight stay.
If it's a 6.0 power stroke just look at somethin else unless you like continually dumping money into it.Not necessarily. If you look away from the city, there is still good value out there.

Not that I have experience with them but, the ones that have head studs and emissions bypassed are still problematic?? I've read those were the two biggest concerns. If it's a 6.0 power stroke just look at somethin else unless you like continually dumping money into it.
Except b body wagons are rated for 5k lbs and panthers are like 2k. I posted the sedan because it’s funny.Panther you say? Possibly
The toyota 4.7 and 5.7's are thirsty. The coyote fords with better transmissions will beat the toyota numbers for sure.

Accurate. Maybe a 7.3 but you'd still probably have to deal with the hpop and no power without putting some into it.any diesel this price range someone would potentially want to own would be "continually dumping money into it"
fiteme
That's a @deezus question really but yeah the heads are the biggest thing I know of and even when "bulletproofed" shit still breaks. I think there's somethin with the egr and a cooler involved too but mostly I just know that you can make good power and they sound awesome but they're a pain in the dick to keep up.Not that I have experience with them but, the ones that have head studs and emissions bypassed are still problematic?? Id be buying a nbs extended cab or Tahoe over a nnbs dod eaterIdk.. GM started trying to move the cam those years and it seems like reliability went down the shitter.
