Does anyone know anything about this? So I bought a 2016 Buick Envision. I want to update the navi and software, under setti gs it says something about it being open source. I found the GM site but there is a bunch of them. I do not know what one to use. Has anyone done this or have experience?

Might be better off reaching out to

www.whiteautoandmedia.com

And

www.GM-navigation.com

Between the two of them you should be able to get what you want done, albeit pricey, but AFAIK they’re the best (only) names in the game.

I was part of this limited program they were running years ago, they were trying to basically make an app store for cars (I'm a software developer) Had a full dev kit, it was all in java and was so limited as to be nearly useless. A A lot of it was being marketed as open source since the developers could just release the code and apps for free. I think the program just petered out.
