One Lap Of America

I was at Autobahn and Road America this year. I didn't get any photos at AB but I did get a few shots at RA. What a cool event.

This is what is left of the CTS/V wagon, manual, that rolled in turn 8. The driver was walking through the pits as the flatbed was hauling the car away, amazing. We were all like.. wait....what??????

This Camaro was pretty creative with it's front end after losing it.

These were all of the GTR's and their Drivers/Co-Drivers that were still at Road America this afternoon. A very cool shot.

All in all a really cool day to watch these guys/gals tear it up at Road America today. When One Lap wasn't running the Viper Club was running.

I am too beat right now to talk more about this but I will get some sleep tonight and post more tomorrow.

IMO, the CTS is one of the safest, most well-built cars out there.

Back in July I was about to go north on RT. 12 at RT. 22 in Lake Zurich and I had a feeling telling me to stay where I was and not go. Few seconds later, white CTS blitzes by right in front of me going 75+ and hit the curb. Car went up in the air about 20 feet, came down, took out a fire hydrant and rolled seven times. The car was amazingly intact for what had just happened.
