So I brought another 3800 thing home, 2000 park ave a dude threw the cannon at it trying to fix the miss and gave up. I'm pretty sure most of it's issue is the plenum is warped right behind the throttle body it's audible and visible and you can change the idle by holding your thumb over it, it needs cleaned terribly, definitely has a bad wheel bearing and probably needs lower intake gaskets but the body is solid. Has new struts. Rust is only on the bottom of the doors not on any strut towers, the trans shifts good, and most importantly it doesn't rattle at all and the oil pressure light isn't on when it gets warm. Was dailyed until the miss started.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep it and clean it up, gut it for the l36, throw the blower and heads on it I have, or if I'll just fix it and flip it but I really couldn't pass it up for 600 bucks.
