Figured out this morning that my new weekly commute for 5 days uses 1.1gal of gas. if I only drive to work I can fill up once every 9 weeks.
Bad battery, defective/error or no power makes em beep. Is it a big one or small consumer size?Present
Get to play fix the internet this morning.
Battery backup was beeping when I got in. Who the fuck knows why

The front LCD should tell you what's up. Or plug it into a computer.Usb port on the back, probably uses a printer USB cableCP1500AVRLCD
A mini-tower UPS with line interactive topology, the CyberPower Intelligent LCD CP1500AVRLCD provides battery backup (using simulated sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems. If you got nothing on that and it just beeps, it's either a bad battery inside (which you can swap, usually 12v 7ah or 12v 9ah) or it just shit the bed.
Also make sure you have power of course.
im not even sure why we have it quite frankly- is there any specific reason we should?
it's up on a shelf so it sucks to see im going to take it down and plug it in and see what happens.
UPS is a temporary power solution should an electricity related outage occur. It’s to provide power should there be an electrical blip or until the site generator engages.
Typically critical site IT devices (I.e., network) are connected to a UPS.
Who remembers the Schwinn shop in Elk Grove , off Devon ? . I think they went full China in the 90s.
Yes. It keeps things running if you have brown outs or spikes otherwise the equipment may reboot during those events or die. That model has AVR which is automatic voltage regulation so regardless of the grid power, the devices get clean stable power. It's one of the best things you can do to make electronics survive longer.im not even sure why we have it quite frankly- is there any specific reason we should?

I mean, you can just use a power strip while you troubleshoot or get a replacement. But I would recommend having one. All my home stuff is on a ups.i know what it is
i dont know why we have it though.
it's a tiny office with 4 pc's.
It would suck if internet and wifi is rebooting all day if comed signal is trash...because a ups would prevent that.so a phone, our comcast modem and netgear wifi don't break?
k.

Yeah that's good for a spike, but too big or a brownout will knock the equipment out still which a strip is useless against.that's what i already did. surge protected powerstrip.
