Not here, 290 has actually been a lot busier at 5am last few days. I think its due to the 3yr construction plan on 90

I made great time on 290 the last 2 days from South Elgin...left at 5:15 both days....not sure how long that's going to last though.

Today got a bit slower close to the south loop....but way better than 90.

Soon as the weather warms up a bit I'm taking the train down...fuck this shit lol.

It hasnt slowed me down yet, I was just pointing out there have been a lot more vehicle's on 290
I get off at Cicero and make my way thru the west side so I miss all that shit near the loop

Where on 294, I wouldnt say it all sucks. Towards the south end where it feels like they have been doing construction for 5yrs is fucking terrible.
But I dont feel the north end is all that bad.

Yes.. just after the lockdown it was glorious. Driving into the office and going triple digit speeds on 90 with not a single car to be seen in front or behind me in the middle of the day. Taking all the off ramps at progressively faster speeds and learning the limit of the car and the best lines to take. lol I learned the wife’s traverse is a lot better handling and faster than the grand Marquis.
