3 week lingering dry cough here. Have had no other symptoms or side effects. Damn kid in daycare and kid in kindergarten.

My Buddy went to Orlando at the end of OCT for a work CONF.
He stayed a couple more days with his family and came back before Halloween.
He was sick for the better part of NOV. Sinuses and Lingering cough.

SIL and mooch bf are back. SIL has a 15 year old dachshund named Chloe, super nice dog but zero discipline and very high maintenance because she's so old. Can't go up/down stairs, always wants help getting on/off the couch (literally changes her mind every 3 minutes), smells bad so you don't want to pick her up (at least I don't) etc. She loves it down in florida though and has been walking like crazy and lost a few pounds, so i'm sure she'll be miserable being back in this cold.
2 fucking minutes after getting in to our house chloe pissed on the rug, so I made them hold her the rest of the evening and told them she can't go on any furniture or rugs. At least it's just a rug and not carpet, it came up pretty easily.
Today they're going to oakbrook then the casino for dinner (SIL is surely paying) and dropped the dog off at the in laws with no notice for 6-8 hours. I have no clue why the in laws indulge this. If I were them I'd tell her to leave her ass at your house to piss on your carpet and i'll let her out mid-day.
mooch bf flies back to london tuesday then the SIL is traveling for work the next 2-3 weeks so chloe will again be staying with the in laws, 3-4 day stretches this time. I told them that she 100% intentionally scheduled these trips for after the bf left, even though that means they'd have to watch the dog.
They don't crate her, and they let her sleep in the bed so their sleep is absolute shit when watching chloe. And she'll be stir crazy due to being stuck inside.
I don't miss the SIL/bf self-centeredness being on full display, time for them to move to FL for good. Sooooon.

I kinda hope this too, because frankly he doesn't deserve a visa. Get a real job or stay on that side of the pond, we don't need any more pretend entrepreneurs that don't pay any taxes. The problem is if this happened then my SIL would just fly to london every month like a moron, but i guess I don't really care, she's an adult and can do what she wants.
I'm assuming his pie in the sky goal is to become a wealthy entrepreneur, but when you have unoriginal ideas and spend your weekdays on the beach or shopping at oakbrook...guess what you're never going to earn anything.
I don't really ask him questions because I don't respect or like him and I don't want to hear whatever bullshit answers he has. It's not my place to call him out, i've said my peace to the SIL and that's that.
To be clear: he's a very nice, very personable guy. That matters to a lot of people but it doesn't even matter a little bit to me, lol. If your actions & work ethic are pathetic then I don't really care about anything else.
Ever since I got the covid 2 years ago I feel like the TERMINATOR I haven’t gotten sick.
