Drive:
32 hours total driving round trip (best case)
$300 in fuel (probably more like $200 because my dad would ride with and cover some)

Fly:
17 hours round trip: 1 hour to airport, arrive 2 hours early, 2.5 hour flight, 1hr dicking around with checked bags & rental, drive 2hrs to house after landing. Double it all for the return trip
$478 + rental, which I'll split with my dad, figure $100

Worth it for my sanity (and sleep)

But ya... I'd try to fly too. Denver being a hub at least leaves you plenty of backup plans
