I bet this eventually happens in the USA.
The moisture holding/lack of breathing causing rot is not good, not being sellable because of possible rot from using spray on foam insulation is even worse....$ lost

So all the new homes with this stuff could have major issues if it's not done right

might be the most hilarious transformation i can think of recently on the chain.

best part, you can see the "old house" in the new house.

Another house was the model home and this house was the same way more upgrades but super dated this house also looked like itā€™s never been painted but well taken care of. I remember looking at model homes back in the day and looked identical. Might have end up building a house instead of over paying for crap from 2004. Going to be a process

Learned recently that the wife shares the same goal of building a custom home by age 50 with me. Thinking this will be the time to move out of state. Went and looked at an area along Lake Wylie in Southwest Charlotte last weekend and kind of perturbed at the realtor.. I contacted her because she had listings in that neighborhood but when she rolled up to the meeting she was decked out in all designer attire and was like "well, after we walk the two houses for sale, I'm not dressed for walking the lots, why don't you guys just figure it out."

The houses that were for sale were pretty sweet tho:

IZZy IZZy did your house sell? How did the 0 buyer agent approach work out? Will be listing my house in 2 weeks
I was under contract and then the sale fell through due to some small issues found during the inspection, they thought it was a good opportunity to ask for $13k off for changing out some GFI outlets and taking care of some ventilation issues in the attic lol

The way the buyers agent was gonna get her money was to add her fee on top of the asking price, basically making the buyer finance it into the mortgage but if I were you I would start with offering no buyers agent fee and see how the offers come in and negotiate the fee on top of your price.
