Yesterday, my dad unexpectedly had three cats added to his house. She didn't even show signs she was pregnant.

Unfortunately, yes. Both were at my dad's, but Butch was basically mine. Had him up here a few times over the years.

Both were quite old, Butch was having incredible amounts of trouble walking/moving, would start shaking or fall over, and was terribly confused. Scottie was also quite old and I think was having a lot of issues. Would come out of the dog house and just lay in the same spot all day.

They both "arrived" at my dad's about the same time. They just wandered in from the hills and stayed. Scottie had a sister than came with him, but she disappeared back into the hills years ago and was never seen again.

I took these yesterday. It’s Maia, who is our special needs cat. Was basically on death’s door this time last year:

Is it Russian blue?
Cutie.
We have two old cats, one is bengal and the other one British shorthair.
One of them has a strong allergy at the moment and our vet recommended to give her benadryl.
I also read this article https://www.catfoodpoint.com/benadryl-for-cats/ and it seems to be not a big deal really.
Still have some doubts about that and curious how many cat owners give such meds to their furries.

South of Wisconsin.
Wfh day. The Cat has been sick with issues with bladder stones, lost weight and spent most all her time hiding and yowling for months now. She is finally feeling better, gained a little weight, and the first time since August she sat in my lap as I worked. She has crumbs on her from the sandwich I ate at for lunch. Lol.

We might be having to say goodbye to our beloved Maia. After fighting Chronic kidney disease for almost two years she’s going into renal failure. Only 3 1/2 years old. Didn’t get a chance for a full life. Did everything we could and I feel like I’ve failed her.
