this was painfully obvious when they want you to take 360ā° pictures to power up the pokestops every other time you spin one. even more interesting is the gyms being heavily located at churches and other places where large groups of people gather while the smaller stops are located at points of interest conveniently located far enough from each other to map the next in real time. Not that Google earth hasn't been admittedly doing the same for years.
