Thoughts on this trade in my big money league. Guys making trade are brothers and always try to pull off a trade like this every year.
Its a PPR league 1pt per reception, and its a keeper league. The way the keeper works is you cant keep anyone drafted in 1st round and cant keep your keeper more than 1 year. If you keep someone drafted in 10th rd you lose your 9th round pick. So the brother who has Mahomes kept him this year as he drafted him in 10th rd last year. So if this trade goes thru his brother gets to keep him for the same value next year. 10 man league and they need 6 votes to get trade approved. I'm voting FUCK NO!

Edit: Our QB scoring isnt standard, its a high scoring custom league.
6pts for TD's bonus points for throwing for 100 yards, 200 yards, 300 yards etc
A Rodgers scored 66pts in this league last week (example of how high scoring it is)

Mahomes, Gordon, New Orleans def
For
Connor, Allen Robinson, New England def

That sounds like a rule change to me. If you trade a keeper, the same stipulations for keeping follow. If they were a 9th rounder this year, then they are an 8th rounder next year.

I am 4-5 this year in my big money league and my team just cant click at the same time, so I am having a firesale. Already have 3 first round picks and 2 second rounders next year. LOL.

I knew I should have played Coleman instead of Ekeler. I went back and forth on them all week. Coleman is going to be crazy good once his Tackles and FB come back. There goes my "A" rating for the week. 35 frigging points sitting on my bench.

Hopefully I can hold on for the win against Shawn. Latavius is doing well for him.

I still need a good WR2. Who will you guys give me for one of my WRs and Prater? I was going to drop Prater after the bye but he's one of the best kickers in the league. Who needs a kicker?

I think you guys undervalue your K and DEF positions. I blame the FF "experts" who do the same thing. 10 points is 10 points regardless of who gets it for you.

Its the same argument with QBs. Since you only start one of them, and there are only 12 teams, there should be at minimum at least 10 available on the wire that can put up points. Even you wouldnt stash multiple of them on your bench. And they are the only ones taking snaps at that position.

Just one of those years for me in FF. Big money league I have lost 3 in a row by 10pts or less each week and its a high scoring league.
Losing Davante Adams has killed me.
TCG league, couple of "chance" picks in the draft didnt work out.
Good news, in my confidence pool. I have won it twice, need Pit to win tonight and total score closer to 38pts vs 42pts and I will win again.
Leading the season point total by a large margin

Losing streaks suck. Time for a trade?

Congrats on your pregnancy!

I mean, in the league's current position, why trade? I give away stars, get stop gap players or decent players in positions I dont need and still not make the playoffs? Now if this were like my other league where we could trade next year's draft spots, Id be listening.

And thanks. I should update my thread I started.

Yeah, at this point, trades are for studs for the top teams and decent players who could win weeks right now for the bottom teams. I think the trades can have value for both sides because you never know what will happen if you do get a streak of wins and make the playoffs. If a team isn't working, why not try something different?

You can also get RB for WR type swaps that benefit both teams. I have been debating offering Ekeler for a great WR but he has so much potential with Melvin not doing anything so far and people screaming for the coaches to use Ekeler instead. Didn't they fire an offensive coach this week? I have no idea why they pulled one of the top 5 RBs in the league the first few weeks to put in a guy who isn't playing close to his potential. Gordon doesn't want to get hurt and knows he'll be elsewhere next year. I expect we'll see Ekeler continue to get more touches unless Gordon starts playing a lot better. What to do? What to do? Keeping Ekeler gives me a decision every week between Chubb, Coleman and Ekeler behind Dalvin Cook. I also have a choice each week at WR2. Trading would take away the Ekeler choice and give me a WR that would take away the WR choice. Much easier. Still it's Ekeler and I really like him. Plus, my depth would be hurting.

My lineup choices would get a lot easier if Sterling Shepard would get healthy.

How do you guys feel about your teams?
