we owe more than that, but we did buy the extended 100k warranty with maintenance plan and wheel plan.

If we got half of what we paid back, we might break even. I want to get to a point before 36k (car has 30k) where they'll pay what we owe so we get a fat check when we get a partial refund.
Sell the car, then cancel the warranty, maintenance and wheel plan and get money back on that, offset your loss with a break even or plus some.

Ok so between making a $500 payment and getting a 2nd quote that’s the only way I can explain them over DOUBLING they’re offer. I owed 35.5k after the last payment . This was a few days before that. They kept the 37.5 offer, subtracted the $500 payment I made and still added a few hundred on top wtf lmfao. I’m ganna wait it out a few months when the craziness is over and get a bigger truck. My buddy who works at a dealer says he can’t keep anything in stock.

yeah that’s where my head was at, but it’s the wife’s car and she would want to get an Explorer ST and I doubt that would endup happening. I don’t trust Ford’s electronics right now and the Explorer ST has massaging chairs and extra electrics over the Edge ST but that’s what she would want. I’m gonna keep an eye on their prices and see if they really do go up like they’re projecting due to the chip shortage.

Still trying to keep the numbers accurate. Offer of $900 doubled after making a payment. Hope this helps others.

Ok here we go. This is from the bank. Trying to be as transparent as possible. Carvana keeps this up they’ll be broke in 3 years, take advantage boys lol.

my advice, LIE to them. I checked it had weather techfloor mats and sold them privately. Couldn’t find the oem the car came with and dude didn’t give a fuck. The offer didn’t change. The. Car. Had. No. Floor mats.

That was where I decided nope. They offered me 15k for the Escape, but then Id be buying something new and just be at square 1 again.

Having the cash and leasing a new car is the way to go at the moment, once the market settles down, offload the lease to vroom or Carvana and get that dadf150 going!
Buy new or lease is the only way I’d buy anything in the next 6 mos to a year
