I mean everything was going fine until the Bulls blew a pert near 20 point lead late in the game

This is pretty standard for them lately. The beginning of the season they were coming back from 20 point deficits, now they're giving, or almost giving, them up. They can't play a full game. Part of that is tempo, they're trying to play too fast. Other part of it is that when you want to hoist up 40+ 3s a game, there is going to be a point where they don't fall.

There are probably 20+ guys playing in the NBA with half his skill set right now. He will 100% be signed if he is able to play

That's the problem. He can't play. This isn't even related to his injury and he's out. He may get a vet minimum or something but I don't think the risk even justifies the mid-level.

Elite sequence by Williams right there. Misses a wide open dunk and then decides to try to make up for it by bricking 2 straight 3s. Three straight sequences of pat Williams and now the bulls are down by 6.
