At this point I'd trade Levine for LeBron's wife. Also I forgot Lonzo was still on the team. So many shit contracts, no wonder they can't strengthen the roster.

Bulls are still actively trying to trade Lavine. The current story is that they may need to *also* attach a young asset in order to move his contract. Everyone with a brain saw this coming, I can't believe they signed him to that ridiculous extension.

I think you and I were the only 2 on TCG screaming do not sign Trash to a max deal. Others like Juan were sucking Trash's cock
At this point, they need to tear the team apart and start over. Its not like they are a free agent away from competing. They really dont have anyone to build around imo. Ayo and Colby are solid but not great and arent even close to being great. Neither can play the point like a true point guard and if I'm not mistaking they are both labeled as PG.

Trash's contract is really the only shit contract. Nobody could have predicted Lonzo having an injury that sidelined him this long. Imo, he was a great signing at the time, one of the better PG's in the league before he was hurt. The Bulls would have been a different team had he stayed healthy, probably not championship contenders but deep playoff runs.

The more I think about it, the more I like it.

Giddey was solid when he was getting good minutes. His minutes got cut quite a bit this year. He averaged 16/8/6 in 23. He's also started and played the 2, 3, and 4. Very versatile player.

Doesnt fit in with the way the Bulls are constructed right now, he is also a horrible shooter and cant play no defense.
Bulls need guys that can shoot the 3
Giddey is a much better player than Caruso, Levine can GTFO, and take that sack of shit Ball too, go to the Lakers...
No he isnt. Is he the better player with the ball in his hands, sure I'll give you that, he sees the floor very well.
The better overall/complete player is AC

He is better in almost every statistical way, and he's almost a decade younger and will get even better over time. Caruso has peaked, he's in his 30s
Stats dont show the big picture. The MFer cant shoot the 3, cant even shoot free throws, he is like 80% from there. Cant play defense to save his fucking life
You just shit all over Trash Lavine, and rightfully so. But go off Trash's career stats as you just did with Giddey, then he should be one of the best in the league if your basing it purely off stats, right? Cant have it both ways

You got somewhat of a point with that, but apples to oranges...

Giddey is 21 years old, hes a kid, and he will get much better with time. Caruso will not, it's all downward from here for him.

Well the idea is that the Bulls won't be constructed even close to the same when next season starts.

Lets all pray and hope so right lol.
Trash should be gone, but we thought that was happening during the season last year. What is his actual value with that contract?
Is Demar gone as well, what about Lonzo? I cant see any real value for Lonzo on the trade market, so they have to pay him and play him. Him and Giddey cant coexist on the floor together, there is only 1 ball.

Better offense beats better defenseā€¦
Sure, during the regular season
This aint football. I'd still take a great offense over a great defense.
Almost every sport is that way for the most part. Granted you have teams that are offensive juggernauts in all sports and win here and there. But for the most part, teams with great defenses win it all. I only went back 5yrs in the NBA for team defense. You should do the same, here is the link, let me know about each team that won the finals and where they were defensively during the regular season

The dynasties of the past have all been great offenses... Bulls, Lakers, Warriors.... Granted some of those years they've had some good defenses too, they were all offense built teams with some of the best offensive players that ever played the game.
