What’s worse? A ball club being that we expected to be bad or a club being nad that you expected to win?

Embrace the suck cause even when you’re “good” you’re last.
Again, there is no fucking way in hell any of you expected them to be this bad, so stop it.
Even you, the one that I have yet see drink the SUX kool aide didnt think they would be this bad

I didn’t expect history book bad, but last place is last place. You were predicting playoffs ffs. You sound like a 90s Cubs fan, delusional.

Texas won the WS last year the last I checked
They wont be in the WS again, we can put a wager on that now. Double or nothing on what you are going to owe me?

Both Chicago teams are bad and being in last place confirms that failure and futility is in abundance for both this year. Total disappointments.

Although only one of those is still the absolute worst team in all of baseball without exception this season, and is setting themselves up to be considered as one of the worst teams of all time.

I'd still expect the Cubs to have a winning season and make the playoffs before the Sox anytime in the next few years, though. And that's not being delusional when even other Sox fans agree with that point.

Cubs haven’t won a playoff game in nearly a decade. Overpromised and under delivered.

You're not wrong. If that makes you feel better about the Sox and their bleak future, good for you.

Want to wager on which team makes the playoffs next then? I'll bet $100 the Cubs get a WildCard or better before the White Sox do the same between now and infinity (since it could take another 108 years for us)... 🙂

Cubs should 100% make the playoffs before the Sox, if they don't that's an epic failure.

And when is the last time and only time the SUX won a playoff series? Not sure why you keep alluding to that when the Cubs have won more playoff series in the last 10yrs than the SUX have in their entire history.

Cub fans have been conditioned to accept multitudes of long periods of epic failures in between the few bright spots that dot the team timeline. That's why I am often cautiously optimistic whenever there is a glimmer of hope for things to turn out for the better.:ROFLMAO:

Man was 670 ripping into Getz on my ride home. I guess he was on Mully and Haugh this morning and the shit he said made no fucking sense.
You fuckers better embrace the suck until Jerry is dead
I’ll just live my life and spend more time on my other hobbies till he drops dead. Good thing about baseball is that it’s a summer sport so I have a ton of other shit to do with my time.

At least the 27.0 ERA for this outing (7 runs in 2.1 innings) by Crochet wasn't as bad as Imanaga's 10 runs in 3.0 innings (30.0 ERA) earlier this year. So the Sox fans can also celebrate their Ace's performance in addition to almost winning tonight with post game fireworks! 🎆 🎇

To be fair, we heard that being close against "good" teams is great.

But apparently only when the Cubs do it?
Who said that?

What trophy did you get?
Have you ever seen me point something as stupid as that out. The bottom line is who won the game not the final score.
"we were down 7-0 and the final was 7-6, we deserve a cookie"
Had your dumb fuck new manager bunted again in the 8th, they would have tied the game then who knows what happens.

It was stated within this thread by one of your crew (I'm not digging for receipts, not worth my.time and I'm hungover as fuck) that it's great to be competitive with good teams.

The super duper Cubs have win three games against the worst team in MLB history by a total of 3 runs and y'all are in here yucking it up.
