And you're not spinning it that the Sox don't suck worse than the Cubs? #DoubleStandardBoth suck, spinning it so one sucks less...
Well, simply stated....
#THATSCUB
Numbers don't matter to qualify a player or team as better or worse according to you and Hugger. Now what?Just an fyi, Thomasā OPS is higher than Trouts at this point in both of their careers. Yes, Thomas wasnāt a great fielder but he was the best hitter in the 90s. Better than Griffey.
Huh?And you're not spinning it that the Sox don't suck worse than the Cubs? #DoubleStandard
Again, it's factually correct that one record is worse than the other. They are not equal.
First ballot hall of fame.Numbers don't matter to qualify a player or team as better or worse according to you and Hugger. Now what?
Again, you keep deflecting. You welcomed me here to rip on the Sox and ask for the threads to be merged, so yeah, I'm here to contribute to the discussion especially when it's involving someone saying the worst team in baseball is on the same level of bad as every other team that isn't at .500 and negative run differential. Again, YOU are quantifying it with numbers yourself. But you're saying I can't... What in the actual fuck?Huh?
Both teams in last (or percentage points away from it) both teams below .500, both teams negative run differential.
I'm saying and have been saying they both suck.
Cub nation has been hard at work saying the Cub are less worser.
They both sick, only a fan base with a horribly bad inferiority complex would ever float the idea of "sucking less worser".
It's also ironic that said fan base "doesn't care about the Sox" yet boast about being less worse.
Talk about a double standard.
Cub fans never disappoint.
I have said NUMEROUS times the Sox failures suck.Again, you keep deflecting. You welcomed me here to rip on the Sox and ask for the threads to be merged, so yeah, I'm here to contribute to the discussion especially when it's involving someone saying the worst team in baseball is on the same level of bad as every other team that isn't at .500 and negative run differential. The records aren't equal, and therefore the teams aren't equal. Yes, it's possible for one team to be better or worse than the other. Same as one player to be better than another. How is that determined? By numbers and statistics. But you're saying that doesn't matter when it comes to a win/loss records.
That AZ heat must be doing a number on ya!
Yeah, you've said all that about the White Sox, never said you didn't. It's just goofy for anyone to think the other 16 teams below .500 are just as bad as the White Sox, and for you to repeatedly keep making that point.I have said NUMEROUS times the Sox failures suck.
Never once have I deflected that fact or denied it.
Posted multiple memes about theor.epic level of suck.
The only.deflecting.going on here is from you because the Cubs are less worse than the Sox.
Again, THEY BOTH SUCK.
Below .500 is below .500 and its universally accepted that if you're below .500...
YOU FUCKING SUCK
Brother.Yeah, you've said all that about the White Sox, never said you didn't. It's just goofy for anyone to think the other 16 teams below .500 are just as bad as the White Sox, and for you to repeatedly keep making that point.
22-57 is simply the worst record in baseball, which makes the White Sox the worst team in baseball. That's when you keep saying other sub .500 teams also suck bEcAUsE tHeY aRe AlSo beLoW .500. How is that not text book deflecting when you repeatedly do it?
I've acknowledged the Cubs struggles and likely not making the playoffs. But when you repeatedly attempt to drag them down to the level of the Sox, that's where you go off the deep end of being ridiculous by simply saying "both suck" as if they are equivalent.
22-57. WORST IN MLB. Tell me I'm wrong again.
Yes, the Cubs are below .500 with a negative run differential. I never disputed that, have I?Brother.
Let me tell you why we are here.
You are trying to minimize the fact the Cubs suck by pointing to the Sox sucking.more.
That's why the "goon squad" keeps pointing to LESS WORSER.
Newsflash.
Your team also sucks, just admit it.
So we're still not gonna admit the Cubs suck huh?Yes, the Cubs are below .500 with a negative run differential. I never disputed that, have I?
I take issue that you repeatedly keep saying the Cubs and 15 other teams under .500 are just as bad as the Sox. So that's when I chirp up, sparky.
I've literally said the Cubs "aren't good", "struggling" , "spiraling down", "would have trouble with a little league team" and "likely won't make the playoffs". I reserve the use of the word "Suck" exclusively for the team with the WORST RECORD IN BASEBALL, which is solely in possession by the White Sox.So we're still not gonna admit the Cubs suck huh?
Hilarious
Enjoy the next 108 years!
WE SUCK LESS! *In 2024*

Only in your head is 37-40 just as bad as 21-58... But you're the self proclaimed math savant that has demonstrated you interpret numbers differently than the rest of the regular baseball world. So I guess I should just accept there's no further point in this besides gas lighting you for entertainment reasons the rest of this dismal season (for BOTH Chicago teams). Enjoy the ride!
Whatever you say, sparky. The Cubs suck.
Regardless of if you say it or not.
Watched Frank day in and out, he was brutal at first.Quick on Frank Thomas. I thought the move taking him from 1st base to DH was a terrible decision. Thatās when he started to gain weight and get hurt more often. Basically seems like he was no longer in playing shape because he only had to bat. Grace was a decent 1st baseman but nothing great. Would not have put him on a all star team.
Same for me.I played 1st base from Little League into college. I doubt I ever fielded more than a couple grounders a season. Scooping throws out of the dirt was the real talent needed.
Also a former first baseman up until high-school.Same for me.
We all left handed? Also a former first baseman up until high-school.
