So his last 2 starts where he was very good, your lips were zipped. Gets rocked today and your back talking. Be about it all the time, not half the time part time player
Gets rocked today is an understatement. He gave up 10 ERs in less than 3 innings? That his historically bad my friend. 🤣🤣🤣.

Good thing MVP Counsel left him in there. Probably did wonders for his confidence.

Show me another pitcher that gave up 10 ER this season. Or even the last one to do so. I’ll wait.
Mike Oquist, OAK -- 14 runs in 5 IP vs. NYY, Aug. 3, 1998
Bill Travers, MIL -- 14 runs in 7 2/3 IP vs. CLE, Aug. 14, 1977
Ben Lively, CIN -- 13 runs in 4 IP vs. CHC, Aug. 1, 2023
Colby Lewis, TEX -- 13 runs in 2 1/3 IP vs. LAA, July 10, 2014
Scott Kazmir, LAA -- 13 runs in 5 IP vs. OAK, July 10, 2010
Jason Marquis, STL -- 13 runs in 5 IP vs. CWS, June 21, 2006
Mike Busby, STL -- 13 runs in 4 IP vs. ATL, April 7, 1996
David Wells, TOR -- 13 runs in 4 1/3 IP vs. MIL, Aug. 20, 1992
Galen Cisco, BOS -- 13 runs in 5 1/3 IP vs. WSA, July 27, 1962

But yes, it was a terrible outing, much like those listed above. Early 1900's had a number of pitchers surrender over 20 earned runs in a start where they were expected to finish no matter what. Crazy...

So Ive never played in the majors or the minors or college for that matter, I know a couple of guys who played single A ball maybe I could ask them.
Or maybe the SUX fans could answer this, especially Mike as is is one smart cookie when it comes to baseball, and I say that with all due respect.
I know players are supposed to pay attention, even as hard as it may be playing for the SUX. But arent your base coaches supposed to let the runners know how many outs there are as well. Maybe if they see a guy going farther than half way with less than 2 outs they can tell him get back? Am I missing something here?

So giving up 10 earned runs in a game is about as rare is a perfect game. Like I said, historic. Especially for a cy young candidate on a world class team.

Shawn1112 Shawn1112 you realize there’s a difference between historic and the only time to happen ever, right?
Again show me, and if I'm wrong I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong.
Also show me who on TCG called him a CY Young candidate. Speaking for myself, I stated on TCG over a month ago that he wouldnt keep it up

What exactly do you expect me to show you? A list of the most earned runs in a game EVER were just posted and Shita’s ERA for his game is actually worse than most on that list. 🤣🤣🤣

When your outing is worse than the worst ever, it’s historic my man.
