If that is the deal, I'm totally fine with it as a bridge to a rookie QB..... Much cheaper than Carr and knows the system better. Just have to hope he stays healthy.

Honestly was hoping they would tank for a year and draft one of the QB's next year, but guess they don't want to waste a year with the talents they have on offense.....

See who they draft for QB this draft, hoping they don't bet the farm for one of the "top 3" and find someone else who might fit the system well in Rd 3'ish range....

They sure did, but there is a silver lining in it. Next years QB class is a very good one, the Bears pick from Carolina next year should be top 5ish. So if Fields gets o line help and still sucks. We can draft a QB next year ???

I think they have to, the other backup Stidham went to Denver so you need someone to backup and start learning the system, just hope its a later round guy and they dont go nuts for one of the QB's this year.

I can definitely be okay with this deal.....

Hoping they drop down for more capital, or draft the best defensive player available at 7 and then Hooker in Round 2....

I'm not sold 100% on any of the big name QB's that should go early, but would take Stroud if he was available at 7 but he wont be and I don't want to see them give up multiple firsts to move up for him when next years class looks even better at QB.

9ers are a self-destructing disaster. Jimmy and Robbie both gone now will have a big impact on them.

The way they treated Jimmy reminds me a lot of how they treated Alex Smith. They didn't deserve either.
