But submitting a bid means they could be outbid and just use this as a way to strong arm the Mayor and Park District to give them what they want.
Yeah, for sure. Still makes me more optimistic than I was before. I also wouldn't be shocked if the dumbass McCaskey family bid like $10M.....probably $180M short of what the property will really sell for.

If they can somehow pull it off though, and build a retractable roof....we'd be getting the Super Bowl, Final Four, etc. And I can ride my bike there!!

Thoughts on the Bears, start over fresh beginning with ownership. Moving the stadium does not resolve the issues, challenges and weaknesses that prevents them from being a top-tier team.

I cant believe they submitted a bid, kinda agree with Shawn its probably just to mess with the mayor LOL. That metra station and parking is the real deal for that property though. Traffic would be horrendous, 53 gets jacked at rush hour, and they've been planning to update the 53/290/90 clover soon too.
