Maybe he sees the clown show this organization is and doesn't want to be a part of itEd Dodds has withdrawn his name 3 times in 3 years. Is he a bit flakey or just very picky?
Bears have requested a 2nd interview with Eberflus.
That's one explanation. Doesn't explain 3 withdrawals in 3 years, though. Maybe he's just happy where he is and doesn't want to risk moving up unless it's perfect for him?
Hmmm.
Could be. No way to tell unless Dodds opens up in an interview.
I look at Buffalo who has been the Bears but in a smaller market. They have sucked for decades and, suddenly, are a top contender. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally.
IMO, reporters love their Halas Hall access and don't want to rock the boat.
The reporters during the press conference were pretty ballsy and made McCaskey uncomfortable to the point that he should his true awkwardly weird, while Phillips became more forward with his presenceIMO, reporters love their Halas Hall access and don't want to rock the boat.
There are reports in the local media saying they have talked to Jim, but those reports havenāt been verified.44-19-1 NFL record. SB appearance. Took a 6-10 team >< this close to the SB his first year. He's reportedly a jerk.
Name that coach.
Why haven't the Bears interviewed him?

Now you want McCaskey and Phillips to rush a piss poor decision.I am SO tired of all the speculation in the media now. C'mon Bears. Make a decision, already. Don't interview 50 guys and then miss out on the best. Already lost Schoen to N.Y. Giants.
I don't want a poor decision. I want a decision before the best GMs are gone. How long do the Bears need to interview? They keep adding guys to the process who are poor choices and will never be selected. Makes me think Bears management is lost in space and has no idea who to choose.
