Colts are proposing a rule change that would guarantee each team a possession in overtime. Most likely just for the playoffs since increasing the length of regular season games would be problematic for the NFL and networks.

I’d like to see it done for all games. I’ve always hated the way it’s formatted right now.

Anybody remember the Heidi game where the network switched from the thrilling 2 TDs in the last minute, Oakland come from behind victory to "Heidi"? The network actually decided to show the conclusion but their switchboard was full from people calling in to tell them to keep the game going then complaining when the game was cut and they couldn't get a phone line in to notify the technicians.
