There was an article somewhere I read today that this whole fiasco was an attempt by the NFL to covertly get Kap to sign a waiver which they could then later use against him for any employment dispute or something.

One team, with a vocal owner and needing a QB (which leads credence to Carolina perhaps), and that a team with a much more quiet owner, but had a bad showing last Sunday (could be eluding to the Bears).

Yup, I said a couple pages back, quit showing up at Soldier Field. Quit buying Mack Jersey's, etc, etc... When it hits them in the financials, Virginia will be REALLY mad...

Stop going to Sox, Hawks & Bears games if you want a better team.
It never works, we still go, or at least enough go to still make a profit, so nothing happens until an ownership change.
Hawks sucked for years, cheap ass dies and they start winning.
No clue how the Sox got so good for 2 years, but it's back to sucking again
Bears got good for a split second, and they are back to sucking also

Chicago fans only care about the party or the event. It's not a Bears game, it's a fun event to drink a ton of beer or tailgate and drink a ton of beer. As long as the ticket prices reflect how good or bad the teams are playing, Chicago people will almost always show up. I think the Bulls had the best fan turnout for any team last year or the year before that and they were terrible.
