Nut buster tool

This popped up on my feed today and I am half tempted to get it for $100.

Put it over a nut, use your impact to drive in the cutter, and it'll split your nuts...

Anyone have experience with this?

I've had a cheap version for about 25 years, I think it's Craftsman. t's worked the few times I needed it.

I've used a cheap one too. They work well when needed. Depending on where the nut is, I've used my dremel to cut through it and then split it open with a chisel.

The issue with the Craftsman one, I seem to recall us getting a lot of warranty replacements on them. The set screw would strip, or the actual chisel part was to soft and would deform under pressure.

I think the attraction here is the multiple sizing vs. the Craftsman one.
