Problem is they'd make it, it would cost way to much and it would fail.

Here's the thing. The 454 SS was a 40-percent markup over the base truck in 1992. In today's money, that would be a $40,000 truck. Ford built something similar a few years ago. The Tremor, which was a $40,000 truck. Reg cab, short bed, 3.5 Ecoboost. It was bad timing, though, because the F-150 was then redesigned for 2015 and they dropped the idea.

I don't think any regular cab truck sells well because everyone wants bigger and bigger. A regular cab truck is very limited in space. Not very functional. I get it as I own a regular carb truck, the Lightning. You know, the truck that was better than the SS454.
