Your scrambler was the tits, but, it's just not practical for a trail machine.
I'm over here patiently waiting the forever promised Rincon refresh...
Although SxS's are starting to nip at my heels a bit more lately.
These new Sportsman 450s are intriguing to me.
2017 Polaris Industries SPORTSMAN 450 HO for sale in Lake Villa, IL. Nielsen Enterprises
It's a 570 that's been detuned from 47hp to 33hp. Same engine, different map, and they call it a "450". Like they're meant to be entry level work horses, sort of like the Foreman 500. They also "only" have 24" tires versus the 570's 26" tire.
either a huge mark up on these things or what?
(which there isn't)
i dont even know where to start.
shaking head.
Explain to me how they're 20 grand. Or even 12 grand
The way I look at it is that you can get this really complicated small car, that has tons a research and development into it, that costs 20k new. Or you can get a side by side that has zero crash testing that I know of(I'm sure they do something) and barely any emission equipment testing on it and its the same price? If there's not a huge mark up on SxS's then do Cruze's cost 8 grand to make? Is GM making that much on the car?
I understand the difference. But its not like these SxS are running anything revolutionary tho
The machine costs what it costs. It is a drunken sailor type of purchase but YOLO
