This guy was smart, he was talked by the epa in 2015, didn’t pay his taxes for like 4 years , he knew he was in trouble, so he sold as many units as he could in the meantime, collected all the money and stashed it all, so shows he made 10mil on paper who knows what he really took in and is filled in shoe boxes or off shore bank accounts.

He had some good lawyers who know how to work the system, he will walk away paying 500k, no jail time, and will be on a probation for like 2 years, probation for what not sure, maybe can’t drive a diesel and has to drive a electric vehicle only lol.

It would be nice if they were this zealous with the bankers back in 0809 who destroyed millions of people's of lives can cause tons of people to have to go back to work and pollute the air by driving two vehicles everyday instead of only one person working and commuting.

In terms of carbon pollution those Bankers are probably worse.

Maybe we can do a Capone with the bankers and go after them through the EPA?

Let's see if SCOTUS does the right thing, which means FUCK THE EPA and all the 3 letter agencies

Holy fucking shit, they're going to take on Chevron Deference. That may arguably be (for good or bad) the most important Supreme Court decision in 50-75 years, perhaps longer.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/supr...uthority-to-regulate-carbon-dioxide-emissions

“Capping carbon dioxide emissions at a level that will force a nationwide transition away from the use of coal to generate electricity may be a sensible ‘solution to the crisis of the day,'” Roberts concluded. “But it is not plausible that Congress gave EPA the authority to adopt on its own such a regulatory scheme in Section 111(d). A decision of such magnitude and consequence rests with Congress itself, or an agency acting pursuant to a clear delegation from that representative body. The judgment of the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit is reversed, and the cases are remanded for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.”

This statement has huge implications.

Remember guys it's up to a $25,000 fine for each vehicle. So you remember when I was telling you guys not to talk about your s***? Just wait till the government really needs money and is willing to go after the small fries
Yeah after those raids, they've got a bunch of juicy data (they scraped everything in sight... not sure if every raid was like that, but the ones I know of were). Not sure what they've done with it, or plan to do with it, but it's got all sorts of end user info. I don't think they'd go that far, but you never know. I would think their chance of winning the buckshot lottery would go up if they were knocking on everybodys' doors though, not to mention the fact it's got to cost at least 25k for them to raid someone's residence unless the alternative is just to sit at their desks jerking it over Prius porn... in which case they shouldn't be employed there anyway.
