New Now Houston goes around to government buildings and films from public areas. This is a Constitutionally protected 1st Amendment right but the people he films often get angry. Fun to watch if I'm bored. It's amazing what kind of arguments he gets from law enforcement personnel who do not like being filmed. Some are logical, others are idiocracy.

Cook County passes the audit by not actually interfering with the filming. Many of NNH's videos are much more confrontational. Some of the auditors are arrested and their cameras confiscated. They sue and usually collect around $40K.

Here's a Cook County episode. Fun starts at 1:31.

The auditors have a group of people mostly out of Texas and California. They get hundreds of thousands of views and when the government group breaks the law, they get hundreds/thousands of phone calls from subscribers and viewers. It's an important exercise in American rights but it's funny, too. Cameras make some of the officials really nervous. I can understand the fear of undercover agents being filmed but NNH tells the officials he will not film anyone they identify as undercover. The funny part is if the FBI guys would leave him alone, he'd be gone in an hour. Instead, they escalate.

I've been watching David's channel for a long time now and he's pretty good at what he does and handles himself well. The way he gets treated sometimes is infuriating, but the incident with the FBI posted above is completely off the rails. If you can't handle having your blood boil due to anger, I suggest you do NOT watch that video.

He posted another video where he went back there at a later time, but was open carrying. Nobody fucked with him that time (surprise).

I hope he wins a big settlement from those assholes. I know people like to think that the FBI is only corrupt "at the top", but I don't think that's true, especially if this incident is any evidence.

Yeah, David (NNH) and several of the other auditors are good at their jobs. They do an important job reminding members of our government that they work for us rather than the other way around. The fact that the auditors get arrested and harassed which leads to lawsuits and judgments for the auditors shows there is work to be done in this area.

Any American is free to film any public official in the performance of their duties from any public area. Just because law enforcement, security guards and holier than thou government workers disagree does not change the Constitution. This is supported by previous rulings on the matter by the court systems.

I'm shocked all federal facilities do not have educational training on first Amendment rights, especially law enforcement personnel who swear an oath to uphold the Constitution. Plenty of them ignore their oaths because they do not want to be filmed.

David went back to the same El Paso FBI facility. This time he was wearing sunglasses, a scarf over his face with ARs on it and open carrying. Guy has balls.

One cop approached him and another FBI guy took his picture but they had all obviously been told to not engage with him. Shows his method of education worked with this facility. He's going to get paid for the previous incident once it works through the court system. Probably $40-50K.

This video from Johnny Five 0 is pretty funny. It's like he stepped on a nest of fire ants when this guy starts filming employees. He starts off with Larry, Curly and Moe and the 2nd video has them closing the gates, calling the cops again and half the company coming out to bitch at him. First comment in the first video is the company saying their human resources dept. is looking into the video. Wonder how many people got chastised/fired?

People. If someone is filming you from public property... IGNORE THEM! They will go away. If you engage, the youtube video gets a million views and your dept./company gets thousands of phone calls. 1st Amendment rights trump fear of being photographed.
