Not like my opinion matters but, I do enjoy their first 3 albums more than Hyp + Mes.

The completely off the walls sing alongs. I love almost every song, the older ones I have to skip through alot.

I like all of them, although Hypnotize and Mezmerize had just came out when I first started driving and they were my go to for jamming out, so I'd say because of that I might like those ones a bit more.

All of their albums were bangers, but for me you cannot replace Toxicity or Steal this Album. That was my bread and butter in junior high

DAMNIT!!! I almost bought this shirt the other day

But I didn't for some reason. And it was on Qwertee and they rotate their shirts every 24 hours and its gone now. If only this thread had been posted a couple days ago it would definitely have pushed me over the edge to buy it

I tried listening to SOAD on the way home yesterday after seeing this thread. Couldn't get through a song and I tried a few of them,

It’s a unique sound for sure, and it was a time when songs actually had meanings behind them not just for dollars. Their music was extremely political and talked a lot about the issues around the world. Kind of like a rage against the machine type aspect.

Learning their songs on guitar from guitar tabs way back in the day was such a past time. Getting that drop D tuning and just letting it rip.
